Raw honey is one of Mother Nature's most revered skin remedies. Rich in nutrients with enzymes, antioxidants and amino acids. We use raw Canadian wildflower honey from healthy bees gathering nectar from the wildflowers such as dandelions, asters and goldenrods of the boreal forest in Northern Canada

Thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic abilities, it is beneficial for all skin types. Treating and preventing acne, soothing inflammation, moisturizing and clarifies to open up pores and remove dirt and debris. Honey preserves the skin’s acid mantle (aka anti aging!) and regulates the skin’s pH.

Honey is also a natural humectant, so it helps keep the skin moist but not oily. This is because humectants draw moisture from the skin without replacing it. It's known to fade scars and reduce post acne hyperpigmentation with its trace amounts of hydrogen peroxide.

RITUAL: Firstly, remove any eye makeup with a natural oil, or use a 3-4 drops of illuminate. Massage a nickel size amount onto damp skin for 30 second to melt away excess oil + makeup. Rinse with warm water and for best results, follow with Flora botanical facial tonic and Illuminate botanical facial oil.
